The historical house of the Ameri family (Saray-e Ameri-ha), which dates back to the Zand era (mid 18th century), is one of the most popular monuments and tourist attractions of the city of Kashan. It also has the highest wind catcher in Kashan. it is now restored and transformed into a traditional-style hotel.

A new round of restoration work has recently commenced on Boroujerdi-ha House, a 19th-century merchant mansion that is now one of the major travel destinations in the oasis city of Kashan, central Iran.
Many visitors to Ameri House (also called “Khaneh-ye Ameriha), which in fact constitutes one ring of a circle of historical mansions in Kashan, say it is a must-see destination while making an excursion to the oasis city that lies on the margins of a central Iranian desert.
Earlier in September the World Economic Forum (WEF) ranked Iran first in the world as a pocket-friendly destination.
