Tombstones in Gorgan Palace Museum
The museum also includes a space for temporary exhibitions embracing different historical and artistic themes. In the yard of the museum, there are several tombstones related to a time span between 8th to 14th centuries A.H.

The special palace of Gorgan was evaluated in 1336 S.H, by Mahdi Mirdanesh, one of the main archeological experts of that time, and it was finally inscribed on the List of Iran National Monuments with registration number 1538, under the supervision of the Center of Study and Coordination of the Supreme Council of Arts and Culture.
