Borj-e-Ayar Dam (Ayyar Tower Dam)

Related to Shooshtar city (located in Khuzestan province)
This ancient dam also known as Sabei Kosh (Sabeikosh) Dam has been constructed on Gargar River in order to raise the water level and deviate the water to meighbouring gardens. There are also some hand-carved structures in the rocks, known as the temple of Sabe'in (Sabians).
