Yakhi Waterfall (Nova) - Mazandaran
Abshaar-e Yakhi (Yakhi Waterfall, Nova or Selehbon) is spectacular in that it is completely frozen, and is at an elevation of 5,100 m. in the vicinity of the Dood Kooh Mountains near the Damavand Peak. This waterfall has a height of 70 m. and is 3 m. in girth which is in a state of constant increment.

This increase is due to the trickle of water from the melting glacier above it, in the summer months at noon. This trickle flows alongside the waterfall, thereby adding to it. The same continues for a short while and soon freezes. The said waterfall is one of its own in the world.
