This village is in the district of Seeb and Sooran, and is located in the plains, with a warm and dry climate. The Makshid River flows from the north of this village. This vicinity is well known for its mat weaving, and the presence of an ancient castle is another attractive feature of this area. There is also a pilgrimage place known as 'Shah Ahoo' in this vicinity.
