Also known as: Tappeh Darakeh, Darakeh hill of Kouhdasht
Darakeh hill in Kouhdasht (Tappeh Darakeh) is one of the important hillocks from the pre-historic age in Lorestan Province. Situated 24 km. from the village of Abol vafa (Koohdasht). This hillock was made of sun baked bricks and clay. From the central section of this hill, earthenware, brass and admiralty metal vessels have been found. The earthenware is red in color and similar to the tri-pod vessels that Prof. Gerishman had discovered in the Geyan. These vessels resemble a woven basket.
