It is situated 37 kilometers north of Yazd and 7 kilometers to the Yazd - Naein Road. It has a warm and dry climate. Its historical significance arises from Sheikh Taqi Allauddin Dada, the gnostic of the 7th century AH., who founded the mosque and monastery in Bondor Abad for his followers.
This gnostic passed away in the year 700 AH. He was originally buried in his monastery, but a few days later his corps was transferred to Yazd. The village's tourist attractions are Bondor Abad Mosque, Jame' Mosque, Imamzadeh Seyed Hossein and Mausoleum and Tomb of Soltan Shah, the offspring of Sheikh Taqi Allauddin Dada.
