Shir Kooh, The same is 4,000 m. high and has a shelter at the point of 3500 m., and is one of the appropriate mountaineering regions. It takes 5 hours to get to the crest, that is the distance from beginning up to the shelter takes 3.5 hours and another1.5 hours to get to the crest. It has a number of routes for climbing, ranging from the most difficult to the easiest one, and allows the mountaineers to choose the one which suits them most. There are also, some other interesting places such as Barf Khaneh, Tarzjan, and Chek-Chek Mountains that are worth visiting for mountaineers.
The city of Yazd is located to the north of Ardestan, to the south of Taft in the east of Bafq and to the west of Esfahan province.
