This river takes its source in the northern heights of the Shahmirzad and is fed by other tributaries in the vicinity follows its course towards the west of Semnan. From here it sinks into the surrounding desert lands. In the northern areas of this river, pleasant spots for recreation can be found during the spring and summer months.
