The same is also the Jame' Mosque of Sanandaj, and was constructed by the late Amanollah Khan in the year 1227 AH. Besides being well fortified, this mosque has a large nocturnal area. On an epigraph in this vicinity holy verses of Qoran have been inscribed. The mosque has two colossal porches. Around its courtyard are 12 chambers and 2 attics.
