This school is one of the ancient and largest schools of Mashad. It was constructed by Mirza Jaffar Nami. In the year 1285 AH under the orders of Zahiraldowleh the governor of the province it was repaired and reconstructed.
The city of Mashad is situated 909 km. from Tehran in a plain between the two mountain ranges of Binalood and Hezar Masjed. Mashad enjoys a temperate, mountainous climate.
