Baba Khani and Takhteh Cheraq Hills

Related to Khorramabad city (Lorestan Province)
Located 1 km. to the north of 'Sang-e-Moosa', in the district of Chagni (Khoram Abad), there are two hillocks at a distance of 200 m. from each other. The eastern hillock is called Baba Khani and the western hillock Takhteh Cheraq. On both these hills, numerous pieces of earthenware have been discovered. Furthermore, on Baba Khani hillock, evidence of a structure constructed of brick can be noted. There is a strong possibility that the first section of the hillock , be related to the Islamic period, whereas the lower sections to the pre-Islamic ages.
