The above mentioned is related to the Safavid era. But during the Qajar reign, Sa'dol Saltaneh, governor of the times, was responsible for its repairs, and named the same Chehel Sotune. The structure is a double storeyed one, built of brick with cornices of stone. The said structure is currently the venue of the city museum.
